Our highly trained physicians and intensivists use the most advanced technologies available to care for sick and premature newborns. We are located on the 5th floor of the critical care tower, adjacent to the children’s hospital.

Support for patients

We know that the days after birth can be difficult and sometimes stressful.  To help our patients get ready for the challenges of motherhood we offer:

  • Neonatal nutritionists, to monitor your baby’s growth and adjust feedings as needed with help from dedicated pediatric dietitians.
  • A milk preparation room, our infant nutrition technicians work in our Milk Lab to receive and store mother’s milk according to CDC standards. Each bottle of milk received is barcode labeled and tracked to ensure accuracy and safety.
  • Parent education, we offer a course designed for discharge to home for premature babies. We also provide a wide variety of educational information to explain the care we provide in the NICU and what parents need to know when taking their baby home.
  • Pediatric pharmacists, to fill prescriptions that mothers or babies might need.
