The recent realization that bone actually is also an endocrine organ has permitted the design and gradual implementation of protocols to leverage this property. Our research group is also focused on the harvesting and enrichment of adult mesenchymal stem cells from common sources such as fat for therapeutic uses. In particular, the healing and repair of complex wounds.

Dr. Yu is SO WONDERFUL. He's so kind to his patients and has great bedside manner, while also being incredibly technically skilled.

Dr. Yu has far better bedside manner than the previous Dr. xxx. He explained health concern course of action thoroughly and in depth. He asked my daughter questions about school and future career goals and interests that really made her feel acknowledged for her age. He also gave advice to help her think about her health long term as it pertains to her as a teen.
