Opened in 1998, the Children’s Hospital of Georgia is a 149-bed 220,000-square-foot facility. Our hospital is designed just for children and combines a theme of nature and technology to create a safe haven for children and their families. There are playrooms for children that provide toys and games and a Family Resource Library provides parents and siblings the latest information on diseases and treatments.
In the Augusta, GA and surrounding region, the pediatric specialists at Children’s Hospital of Georgia are dedicated to the health and wellness of newborns, infants, children, adolescents, teens and young adults. Many times, children need specialized clinical care – for both routine illnesses and more complex diseases and it is important to have a pediatric specialist that understands how illness can impact growth and development.
You can trust CHOG for advanced diagnostics, expert clinical treatment, recovery, rehabilitation and long term disease management of all childhood illnesses and conditions. Taking care of children is all we do – every aspect of care at CHOG is specific to children and their unique healthcare needs.
