Islam Ahmed Shehata Elhelf, MD, Ph.D

Dr. Elhelf graduated from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency in Egypt in 2009. He holds Masters and Ph.D degrees in Diagnostic and Interventional radiology form Cairo University, Egypt. Dr. Elhelf completed a second Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and clinics, Iowa, USA. He did a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the University of Iowa hospitals and clinics. Dr. Elhelf also did an Interventional radiology fellowship at Harvard medical school-BIDMC, Boston, MA. Dr. Elhelf has an extended research experience in the field of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU). He is also interested in Interventional oncology, Theranostic therapies and Nuclear Medicine.
