After graduating from Drexel University School of Medicine, Dr. Lanham entered Active Duty in the US Army and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA. During his twenty-one-year Army career, he served in various roles including Family Medicine Residency Faculty, Clinic Director, Department Chief, Deputy Commander for Medical Services, and Family Medicine Program Director. Dr. Lanham earned a Master of Theology from St. Leo’s University, completed a Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill, and is currently completing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Management from Augusta University. Dr. Lanham also serves as a Permanent Deacon at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. Dr. Lanham is married to Irene Lanham and has seven children. They live in Augusta, Georgia.
